Its all in a name

This summer Coca-Cola is doing this promotion where you can buy individual bottles that has a saying "share a coke with ....(insert name here).  So I been searching a few store such as walmart, target, etc & haven't been having any luck with my name.  Then I finally  went on the promotional website and saw this:

 

I mean I know my name isn't popular but its not uncommon.  They even had names like Shelby, Latoya, Becca (which is really a nickname of Rebecca then a full name) . Ya know I always like Pepsi a little bit more anyway lol 

Tiger Lilies

Flower blooming is definitely late this year with the winter we had as these flowers only stated blooming last week. I knew I would be seeing the orange tiger lilies since there were around last year. But I was surprised when the pink ones started showing up.  Nature is full of surprises.

I was over my friends house & she had this poster from dollar tree on her door & I used my negative filter on my camera phone to create this glowing effect.  The photo on the right is what the original looks like, but I like the negative effect one better!

I drove past this house several times in Hawthorne & couldn't believe all of the ghouls that they had on their lawn including by their front door.  

I guess they really don't want anybody to come over lol

I was at the supermarket when I saw this mummy & it had a push button which of course I had to press.  I think though I'm going to wait until after Halloween to buy it when it'll be half price lol

Day 3 is a picture of Boo Berry cereal which I love to eat this time of year.  This vintage packaging of the ghost that they now have out at Target this year is actually more mellow looking than scary

I decided to give myself a new challenge this month & take something Halloween related.  Today's picture is a pic collage of colorful glass bottles I bought from Christmas Tree Shop for $1 each.

Hump Day

I realized its been a long time since I posted a picture on here, I've been busy with job promotion  & family stuff.  

I also was shopping around for a new camera and ended up getting the Canon Rebel T5I which I like & has me feeling a little more inspired again.  

Ironically the photo I'm posting today was taken with my camera phone lol !

I'm going to try my best to post pictures here more often because there is so much to see and its nice to take moment to capture it!

Rocky

So what does one do when you have a bunch of rocks that you've been collecting since you were younger and never really displayed them and had an Ikea item that you can't return because its not in the system anymore so its yours to keep.   

You create this:

It felt good to get a little crafty again, it has been awhile for me!

Pretty Lights

I love frozen yogurt & was at Yapple's in Westfield catching up with a friend I haven't seen in a while.  There are several fro yo places to choose from, but my friend said this one had cool psychedelic lights that I would like and she had me at that.  These are really cool & I wished I had them in my house!

My photo today was taken in Asbury Park, NJ. I liked the perspective of Tillie in the background and this statue of Patriarch Athenagoras (Man of Love 1886-1972) in the foreground.
